Well, August 1st marked the beginning of my newest fitness attempts and 3 days in has been going pretty well. It is a slow start, but I didn't want to just jump into everything and end up purging ridiculously because I got fed up too early. I know that isn't always the best way to do it, but I'm trying. This time around I was hoping Daniel would be really enthusiastic into it and we would end up being fit together. However, that has not been the case. August 1st I woke up at 5:40 am to do 30-day shred. Daniel didn't wake up with me, but I made him wake up for a cool down walk. After the walk he ended up doing shred. I thought we were then on a good path since he actually did it, even if he hated me. But I don't think it worked. The past two days I have again woken up at 5:40 in order to do 30-day shred and tried to wake Daniel up, but he has refused.
The food aspect. I am trying again to do 1200 net calories. It is going to take some adjustment. I am food logging. This will hopefully also help me for figuring out stomach things. I do need to get a little bit more strict with recording it though. I know there was a cookie that didn't count yesterday. I will fix that for today. Lessening the snacking will hopefully help. I started on a Giants game day, but I did relatively well in just getting liquor and a turkey burger. Yesterday's fajitas weren't too unhealthy either. Today I did a salad which was better than some of the other options I was considering. As far as food I would like to purchase, nuts are going to be my new snack, and fruits. Small things throughout the day seems to be working pretty well. I have no idea how Daniel is doing with it though.
I know I need to exercise more though. I haven't made it to the gym yet. That will be my next additional step and will hopefully start today. One issue we have is that the gym isn't open that late, but we should still be making the effort to go. That is my newest focus.
